Order Processing Time
Orders are processed and shipped in the order they are received. Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 days of the placing order.  Orders placed Friday-Sunday will be processed on Monday.  Orders placed on holidays will be processed on the day we re-open.  Processing time will be longer during the holiday seasons. Please allow extra time for processing during these peak seasons. Shipping time is in addition to processing time.

Sales Tax
California residents must pay sales tax (8.25%) unless you have a California Resale Permit. You must have a signed resale & tax use certificate on file with us. This must be completed & returned to us prior to your order being placed. You may obtain a PDF form by clicking here.  After you have filled out this form you may fax it to us at: 831-638-9975 or mail it to our mailing address.

We do verify all California Resale Numbers to assure they are active and belong to account holder's address. No refunds will be given on accounts charged sales tax that do not have a resale permit on file before the order ships.

**Please note:  If you are a California resident, in order for you not to be charged tax on your purchases, after you have submitted the resale certificate to us, you must have a customer account created.  This is how we log your account as "resale".

Back Orders
Although we do our best to keep items in stock, from time to time we may be sold out of an item. Items not received on your order are NOT on back order. Our website keeps track of our inventory and items will show out of stock. Sometimes there may be an unforeseen error with this system and in that case you will be notified of the out of stock item, before shipping.

Returns
We want you to be satisfied with your purchases from Jewels N Findings.  However, if you are not satisfied for any reason, please contact us within 10 days from the date of receipt to receive an Return Authorization Number (RA).  Credit will be issued in the way of E-store credit to use on future orders.  Please read the information below concerning our return policy.
 
In order to receive proper credit, please do not return merchandise without prior authorization and a RA number.  We cannot guarantee credit on merchandise returned without a RA number.  Please contact us to obtain a return authorization number within 10 days of receipt of your merchandise.
 
If you receive a damaged item, please contact us within 3 days of receipt, for a same kind replacement.

Please Note - We do not accept returns of the following:
~Clearance Items
~Earwires  (For health reasons, any type of earwire can not be returned.)
~Chain sold by-the-foot
~Portions of Bead/Brass Mix (example 6 oz out of 8 oz bag - All mixes will be weighed upon return)

Please follow these steps for Returning Merchandise:
  1. Returned merchandise must be in its original packaging. Example, labels must still be attached and unmarred, product in their original bags, no writing on the label. Products that are returned in a way that cannot be resold as is will be assessed a 15% restocking fee.
  2. Returned merchandise must not be altered or used in any way.  Example no cut materials, no glue on parts, no bent prongs.
  3. Include a copy of the packing slip or invoice with your return.  On it, please note your RA# you were given to return your items.
  4. Carefully package merchandise for return. Example, use a padded envelope or small box and bubble wrap.
  5. For your protection, you should insure your package for the full value of your return merchandise.  We are not responsible for lost packages on returns.
  6. The customer is responsible for postage on returned merchandise not due to our error.
  7. Your return will be processed within 2-5 business days after it is received by our office.  You will receive an email when your return process is completed.  The e-mail will include a credit voucher that you may use on your next order.  If you prefer that we refund your original method of payment, please contact us after you receive your email and credit voucher.
  8. We do not credit for shipping charges either way, unless the return is due to an error on our part.  If this is the case will credit you the return postage
  9. If your quantity order of an item qualified for a lower price tier and you return part of the quantity, your credit will be adjusted to reflect the higher price tier for the quantity you kept.  Example, ordered 12 pieces - returned 11 - kept 1. 
  10. There will be a 15% restocking fee on all merchandise that is not returned to us in sellable condition.
  11. Merchandise must be received by us within 30 days of receipt.  All sales are final after 30 days from the receipt date.

Shortages
Each order goes through checks before shipping. Any claims of shortages must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt.

Special orders & large quantity orders will require a minimum quantity amount and prepayment. Special orders & large quality orders are non returnable or refundable once order is placed with us.
